Do I need a certain level to start?
No. On first launch you pick a level from “starting from zero” to C1, and the bot adjusts its vocabulary and pace to match.
Do I have to speak out loud?
No, you can type. But voice is the whole point: spoken fluency is the hardest thing to train on your own.
What language does the bot explain mistakes in?
Yours: Russian, Ukrainian or English. The conversation itself is always in Czech — that's the goal.
How is this different from Duolingo?
Duolingo gives you exercises, Mluvik gives you a conversation partner. You speak freely by voice, and the bot corrects real mistakes from your speech, not from a textbook.
